How these figures were put together
Constituency names, codes and registered-voter totals are from INEC’s constituency totals (the register used for the 2023 general elections: 93,469,008 voters). The LGAs that make up each constituency follow INEC’s delimitation and were checked against the registered voters of each LGA: all 350 federal constituencies that cover whole LGAs and 107 of the 109 senatorial districts add up exactly.
State constituencies are drawn from wards, so many share an LGA. The map shows them through the LGA (or LGAs) they sit in; tap an LGA to see the state constituencies inside it. In Lagos (Lagos Island, Mushin, Oshodi/Isolo, Surulere) and Rivers (Port Harcourt) one LGA is split into two federal constituencies, so the map shows both on the same LGA.
* Ekiti Central and Ekiti South senatorial districts differ by 5,375 voters from the sum of their LGAs. In Delta, the INEC totals for the Ethiope East and Ethiope West state constituencies match the opposite LGA. The FCT has no state constituencies; it has six area councils.
